When you book emme photo booth, you hire an entire team of passionate, talented people. We’re a family-owned and operated small business with an office in downtown Pittsburgh. We welcome everyone to stop in and join us for a hot cup of coffee and meet us in person and answer any questions you may have.
Dawn and Billy Takacs are the owners of the emme photo booth and the visionaries behind our brand. They believe that teamwork makes the dream work, so they recruited a unique and talented team to bring your vision to life! Each team member has a specific talent or skill that makes ’emme’ – elite’s magical mirror experience, unforgettable!
Dawn Takacs
Dawn is the creative vision behind the brand. Everything you see here has her personal touch to it. With decades of event planning – emme photo booth encompasses all of her years of knowledge and experience. She has intuitiveness that enables her to capture your style & vision and, translate that and pinpoint it to a highly personalized experience. Dawn loves fabrics and sewing; working closely with Taren together to create a cohesive set for your event. Her favorite feature of the emme is proprietary software and its ability to personalize every workflow – such as the filters feature. This feature offers a beauty filter she adds to every event – making all who use the booth look and feel like a Hollywood star!
Taren Moran
Taren, a beloved family member, handles all the artwork for your event – from photo frames to start screens to personalized art and more. She is the secret weapon that makes emme photo booth second to none. Her personal artistic touch captures your spirit and translates that to art. She loves digging in deep to find that one thing about you that she can use to make your artwork – uniquely you! Mom of a 2nd grader, when she’s not doing art for emme client’s, she’s being silly and creative with her little boy! Her favorite feature of emme is the signature feature, which permits guests to find their inner artist and embellish their photos with emojis, signatures, and doodling!
Olivia Mae George
Olivia Mae has been with us for six years and is also part of the family! We’ve found that Olivia, or ‘OMG’ as we nicknamed her has a unique gift of making everyone feel fabulous! This talent helps your guests ages 8 to 80 overcome any preconceived fears of photo-taking and is empowering to all. She knows the mirror photo booth very well and knows how to keep your line flowing and your guests happy.
Olivia is a newlywed and proud mother of her two pets, whom she has also taught to be selfie queens too! Her favorite thing about the emme photo booth is the vast selection of backdrops we offer. She’s fascinated with our newest collection of realistic flower walls and wants one personalized for her with ‘OMG’ in neon letters!
Billy Takacs
Billy, husband to Dawn and ‘dad’ to all, is the onsite logistics manager. He triple-checks and prepares all the equipment making sure your event day runs as smooth as silk! His background is also an artistic one; Billy was a former kitchen designer. Those skills are always helpful when those event day issues arrive – and they always do! Often you’ll find him helping other vendors onsite putting out fires to make your event flawless. Billy loves making old things new and beautiful again and cooking 5-star gourmet meals! His favorite feature of emme is the greenscreen feature and the ability for guests to be transported in a few swipes to anywhere their heart desires!
